Your city in a box
The City Game was born in 2004 out of the wish to communcate the changes that Malmö went through in the beginning of the new milennium (more on that here). Since then, many more Swedish cities has gotten their own game. Gothenburg got two different editions, Malmö got three, and the demand is still bigger than we ever could hope for, in stores as well as from companies. That board games are enjoyed by most people, that they are charged with positive values and are appreciated gifts are some of the reasons that The City Game has proven to be so successful.
Last year, 2010, the turn came to Swedish cities Linköping and Jönköping to get their own board games. But we're not only aiming for Sweden. Last year, we took the bridge over to our neighbour city and released the Game of Copenhagen. And this year, connections has been established in Amsterdam as well as in Milan, and the task of spreading the City Game across Europe has started.
